The Story Behind Tape Devil

Inspired by feedback from DM Decor, who highlighted the need for a high-quality tape cutting tool, I decided to create a solution myself. With a background in CAD design and 3D printing, I had the perfect skills to take on the challenge.

The idea fully came together during a spray painting course at Paint Tech Training Academy. I kept running into the same frustrating issue: every time I tore off a piece of masking tape, I had to stash the roll in my pocket, disrupting my workflow. I knew there had to be a better way. That’s when I envisioned a tape cutter that not only worked flawlessly but also attached to your wrist for seamless access during any task.

Combining insights from DM Decor and my own experiences, I used my CAD and 3D printing expertise to design the Tape Devil—a revolutionary tool that attaches directly to a roll of masking tape. It’s more than just a cutter; it’s about convenience, efficiency, and transforming how we work with tape.

Drawing on 30 years of experience in the packing industry, where I worked extensively with tape guns and dispensers, I poured everything I knew into creating a tool that truly makes a difference.
